Dubai-based graphic designer Lara Atkinson has created these clever fashion popsicles that celebrate the popular branding of a series of luxe designer labels.
Teaming up with a local high-fashion department store, the designer has created signature flavours for each of her chosen brands that include Kenzo, Burberry and Alexander McQueen just to name a few. Each of the sweet and stylish snacks focus on complementing the labels' existing graphics and vivid color palettes for which they were chosen.
While North America is experiencing cooler autumn weather, Dubai's summer has begun and these couture frozen treats by Lara Atkinson are the perfect remedy for a hot and sunny day. The fashion pops, available in berry couture, honeycomb crunch, lemon sorbet and passion fruit blast are not only elegantly branded but are a genius way to market the season's hottest in-store styles.
The AnOther Magazine 'Ice-Cream Fashion' Article Looks Delicious
Kate Moss once said that "skinny feels better than food tastes," but that might be because designers have never delved into the dessert realm to create treats like the ones imagined in the AnOther Magazine 'Ice-Cream Fashion' editorial. Skinny might feel good, but designer desserts are something else all together.
Illustrated by Tom Baxter, the AnOther Magazine 'Ice-Cream Fashion' editorial was greatly inspired by the latest spring and summer 2013 collections. Envisioning five ice cream treats, he illustrated a Marc Jacobs Stracciatella ice cream cone, Nicolas Ghesquiere nocciola and wafer gelato, Fendi banana flavored treat and more.
Fun and delicious, the AnOther Magazine 'Ice-Cream Fashion' editorial encourages people to look at fashion in an entirely different way. More than that, just as everyone has their own favorite flavour, people are drawn to different labels and looks.
