On researching into Le déjeuner sur l'herbe I found its meaning was "The Luncheon on the Grass" which was originally titled Le Bain (The Bath) and was originally a large oil canvas painting by Édouard Manet created in 1862 and 1863. The painting depicts the juxtaposition of a female nude and a scantily dressed female bather on a picnic with two fully dressed men in a rural setting.

I adore the colour palette used in this editoral and especially the models used as they are pale with ginger hair and blue eyes which is an appearance typically assocaited with british people. The fashion and accessories used depict what you would ideally expect to worn at a fashion forward picnic event of such. And not forgetting to absolutely adorable miniature foodstuffs. From the tiny forks and spoons in the models hair to the tiny plates and fruit baskets which are actually the same size as the rings and jewelry in the shoot.
