MISSONI

I loved the missoni collection for spring summer 2014 particulary because of the colours used. I loved the deep vibrant pinks its a very unique colour and not used enough in my opinion it gives a great feminine twist on the typical pink and is more wearable for older women. The deep pinks and oranges mixed with black and white looks very chic and modern.

The textures and patterns used such as the leathers and the wavy patterns and textures reminded me of sushi, even the colour palette could be considered sushi-like as the black could be the noori and the pinks to be tuna the whites creams to be the soft cheese and the oranges to be the prawns or vegetables.

With the colours and textures of the accessories I again found them to be reminiscent of sushi, with plastics and leathers and PVC.
