I love southeast Asian food especially in restaurants, such as wagamamas and tampopo. The cuisine is always so fresh and full of flavour whilst also being quiet light yet filling so its a good combination. If I am too busy to cook or want something quick I generally pick a sushi platter from M&S or Tesco as opposed to going for a pizza or something like that. I feel its so much more healthy and enjoyable. I love the infusion of flavours I think because its so different to the middle eastern food I have grown up with so I appreacite the variety in ingrediants used. I love how we use chopsticks to eat sushi and then the big ladels for soup and noodle dishes, it makes the dining experiance that much more special.
sushi samba in london
This was an amazing dining experience, I didn't take enough pictures because I felt slightly reserves and shy to do so as it was a more high end restaurant. It was probably the most expensive sushi I've ever bought but the enviroment and the service was really impeccable and we had a lovely waiter Tariq. The restaurant is on a really high up floor in the Heron Tower in Bishopsgate we also had a main dish which was like a seafood thai curry which was amazing but I didn't take a picture of it unfortunatly and cocktails mine was a strawberry mohijto and my friends was passionfruit and mint
sapporo teppinyaki in manchester
Teppinyaki is incredible I love watching the food being cooked right infront of us as opposed to just sitting there and waiting for the food to be brought to the table. Food and entertainment all combined into one great evening.
tampopo in trafford centre
I love tampopo probably a bit more than wagamamas now that it has become so popular. I love the sharing platter which is basically all different starters from different countries with a different sauce to dip into. I had my usual thai coconut noodle soup.
